Bug Not a bug Big icons cropped

I purchased this addon and instructions are not clear to me.

Ok so upon playing around with this I notice that if you go to the node tree in the admincp I can use my own icons that I upload to the directory you stated on my server. Outstanding.

Several problems occur however. Whether I leave the default sizes or chance them to the actual size (48 for my icons) I get the same thing. And the Icon that was there.. is sitting right on top of it.

I'm using the Fragzone theme by Pixelexit.

Help would be quite appreciated...

This is what I get (no matter what I change the size of the icon too, I get the below result) :

For the fact that your icon is having the other displayed on top, you have to disable the custom icons from your pixel exit theme, I think there is an option for that.

For the icon size, would need to get your forum url to check out.

Ok I checked, the size thing works well if icon is smaller not if bigger.

I would recommend you to change your icons to 36px x 36px instead of using those 48px x 48px size.

Ah yes that's a solution indeed.

Will note this and see if I can fix it in next release using that.

It works perfectly up to a certain size, however I tried this image at 200x168:

and got this:

It seems logical, you icon is not square.

OH, I didnt realize it had to be square.

well squaring it off at 168 x168 does center it but keeps the same size "canvas"

I want it to show as a 168x168 icon.

It will always be that size because the styles in xF have 36px sized icons.

You'd have to put something like that:
.nodeIcon { background-size: cover !important; width: 168px !important; height: 168px !important;}

That would make every icon stretch that big though wouldnt it?

I only want the icons on the main forums page that big. Once I click on a section, say Tyrs Tavern, I want regular size icons.

You would have to put that code in a style tag inside the forum home template.

It has nothing to do with custom node icons, for that you should rather ask xF support team
