Currently I would recommend you disable the add-on when you create a category and I'll look into this bug when doing a maintenance release soon.

I get an error like this, but it happens when I forget to select the percentage value. By default, there is no setting, and if you submit without selecting, it throws an error and asks you to retry. But in the background, the node is indeed created, so if you make the selection the second time and submit, you'll actually have two nodes(or more, depending on how many times it takes to realize the forum sales percentage is the value its asking you to input).
