Dedicated MOTM page - show all of the above on a dedicated MOTM page inc. previous winners, current votes etc.

Thanks. Another addition would be showing stats for current and previous contests would be great as today there's no way of finding out who voted without querying the db.

That would not be 100% possible.
For mode 2 and I think mode 1 as well, the votes are removed after the contest.

Current contest votes are ok at the beginning. Maybe persist historical data somewhere in the future.
