XF1 Install/Uninstall addon

Install instructions

Close your forum and make a backup of your database.

Upload the content of the upload folder from the product zip archive to your forum directory. When uploading, pay attention to the actions to take in case of files conflict, ie. select merge for folders and overwrite for files.

Once the files are uploaded, go to your admincp and click on the Install Add-on link of the Installed Add-ons block from the Home tab as depicted below.



On the opening page, click on the Choose a file button and select the .xml file from the product zip archive and then click on the Install button.

After you click on the Install button, the install process starts, it should take some time as XenForo needs to rebuild templates, phrases and so and so forth.

Once the rebuild process is finished, the add-on is installed.

Uninstall instructions

Go to your admincp and click on the Manage Add-ons link of the Installed Add-ons block from the Home tab (see Install instructions).

On the opening page, click on the red cross from the add-on line. The picture here below shows where the red cross are located.



XenForo will ask you to confirm as depicted in the example here below, just click on the Uninstall Add-on button.



As for the installation, it should take some time as XenForo also rebuilds stuff upon uninstall, just wait. Once the rebuild process is finished, the add-on is uninstalled.

To finish the uninstall process, remove the folders and files from your server (Look in the zip of the add-on the list of files can be deleted)

Some addons can share the same file.
