Suggestion RM Nodes Layout

Hi,

I bought your RM Nodes Layout add-on, it's exactly what I thought I needed, but there's one little thing missing.
I wonder if we can remove the area in the picture below?
I just want it to be in Forum view.
Because there are about 10 main categories,
there can be hundreds of subcategories under each main category.
visually it will be a very crowded image on the left side.
Would it be possible to add an option to "hide the left part"?

additionally, can we show subcategories under the main categories on the homepage of the "resources" add-on?
just like in forums?

What do you mean ? There is already a resource count.

Hi again,

It came to my mind.
Here's what I meant about statistics:
For example, there are "Subcategories" under a main category
Your plugin counts the number of files in each category.
However, can you add the total number including subcategories in that main category?
I have attached you a sample image.

Now I will give you an example from my site where I use your add-on.
is a main category in the link at the top.
when I click here, the category section on the left should be hidden (may be optional)
then as you can see on the right, there are 2 subcategories for now.
there are 206 content in one of this category and 286 content in the other.
What I want is to show the number 206+286=492 somewhere under them.

I hope I was able to explain.

It would need coding to rebuild towards parent the total count because it also would need to count childs of childs and I am not sure it’s worth the investment.
