Suggestion Refused service subscriptions

Make it possible to subscribe to a service.

Why not using the embedded subscription system ?

Subscriptions are not something we might be interested into adding as it's kinda complicated and somehow not that much in the scope of a marketplace.

It's just no subscription available for service offers.. Only software. Unless I'm missing something?

No it's not and as I said subscriptions are quite complicated, this is not something we had planned for soon releases.

Ah ok, is there any other way to manage this? Download a license certificate instead of actual software?

If I offer a subscription to a service, similar to subscribing to a software license. Is there a way to offer this?
Let's say I offer a social media service and want it to work in a way where they can subscribe and get a discount price for the second period and onwards of their subscription.
If you sell a software this is possible currently, but if it's a service there is no method for this?

Ah so a non automatic subscription of service.
I think that's feasible.
