Suggestion Implemented Suggestion, please add a new variable, directly to the ADD page

I can't believe how confused my users are on how to enter! They keeping posting in the comments, or in categories. Not the album. I tell them how to enter and they still do it wrong and give up and blame my instructions.

I really think this will help.

Can you add a new variable, like {6} that is the album link with /add after it? This is the actual add media page so they won't get confused.

I would love to use this as the ENTER NOW link in the posts. It would help a LOT! Thanks!

I figured out the issue!
My regular members don't have album creation permissions. So when they go to the album page they don't have the Add Media button.
They need these permissions but not album create:
Upload image to album
Upload video to album
Upload audio to album
Embed media in album

Posting so others know.

In order for the album function to work (mode 1) groups need:

User Groups >> Group (selected):
XFMG: Album permissions
Upload image to album
Upload video to album
Upload audio to album
Embed media in album

I figured out the hard way. No one could enter. You only need to enable what pertains to your contest, I don't allow video uploads only embeds. My regular members can't create albums so I have that off. But you need the upload/embed settings on. Now they can see the Add Media button in the album.

You totally lost me, you were speaking of variable adding... So I don't see what needs be done.

For the posts and threads in Mode 1,

Input here below the content of the constest start message, you can use the following replacements :
- {1}: Displays MOTM date (same as thread title)
- {2}: Displays the link to the album page
- {3}: Displays the number of medias authorized per user
- {4}: Displays the number of days for media submissions
- {5}: Displays the number of days for votes
BBCODES are authorized.

I would like to have a #6...

- {6}: Diplays the link to add the media page of the album

So, it is the album link with /add after it like this:
(https://domain.com/media/albums/media-of-the-month.99/add)

It takes you directly to the Add Media page so they don't have to click Add Media from the album page. So the link could look like: ENTER NOW and we could use this in any of the posts, not just the first one. Like, so-and-so has entered media... Enter Yours now... etc. I would like to add an Enter Now or Enter Yours link to all the posts and have it go directly to the page where media is added. Thanks!
