Support Resolved Unable to add Clubs

Hi, just purchased both the Tournament add-on and the Roster add-on. Tournament add-on appears to be working correctly, but I can't get the Roster add-on to cooperate at all. I've currently got these two add-ons installed on my dev forum: https://dev.sidelinecoverage.com/forum/

When I go to add a club at https://dev.sidelinecoverage.com/forum/roster/club/add, it gives me this error message:

I disabled all other add-ons other than Tournament and Roster just to verify that it isn't an issue with add-ons conflicting.

Shouldn't the Roster add-on be able to function without the Tournament add-on anyway?

The roster add-on does function without tournament but if you activate the roster integration in options as you shown then the Tournament add-on adds some operation when creating a club.

Yes, that's what the screenshot is of. In the Options of the Tournament add-on, I do have the integration enabled.

I just installed the Roster add-on as a test on another forum, without installing the Tournament add-on. It's allowing me to add clubs on there, so it's definitely an issue playing with the Tournament add-on.

Then I tried to install the Tournaments add-on afterwards and got this:



And this error again trying to finish install, as it shows it pending:

@Fred have roster table names changed when you ported Roster to 2.3 ?

Should be something like xf_xfa_roster_*

Ok then I confirm there is a bug I will have to fix.

I am currently working on a feature addition to Tournament so you might have to wait between 1 and 3 weeks before you can get the bug fixed or I can point out a manual modification to you before that. Just let me know what you prefer ?

I'd like to have this working when I launch the forum in the next couple weeks, so I'd probably prefer going with the manual modification for now.

Upload the attached file in src/addons/XFA/Tournament/Admin/Controller and run the install roster compatibility item from the admin menu.

I've uploaded the attached file and made sure that the that the roster/tournament integration is selected, but still having the same error message when trying to add a club. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. If it's going to be in the couple weeks, I can just wait on the add-on to be updated.

The error might be because an other file needs to be modified.

That's because I gave you a temporary modified file.
That will be fixed upon next upgrade.

Do we have an ETA on this upgrade? If we're talking about days, I can wait. But if it's going to be an extended period of time, I'd rather you just refund me for these two add-ons.

I am talking since the beginning about the item in this menu in admincp, the last one.
I am not sure you clicked it after uploading the first file I sent you.

I just started from scratch over at https://uvopia.net/ and all lay out my sequence of events:

1. Installed Tournament add-on
2. Installed Roster add-on
3. Uploaded the two files (Tournament.php and Leaderboard.php) to the appropiate folder.
4. Went into ACP and enabled the integration under the Tournament add-on options.
