Bug Not a bug Update thread when Document is updated

I would like to have an update to the thread once I update a document.

You mean a post being made or an update of the first post ?

When I create a new Document/Tutorial a posting is made in a category.
Now I make some change, add articles etc. so it would be great that everyone sees that and the posting gets updated like when I update a resource.

Sorry, definitely doesn't show in threads about updates, only alerts for us. (not even news feed)

Yes it's weird, definitely get the alert but only if watching. The rest nothing.

Ok I checked in fact it's normal, it already creates news feed related to the document so it doesn't create the part related to the thread logically.

It's as designed.

So when someone updates a document, it's normal for the thread to not be updated and people shown the changes?

Just tried again and nothing. Added a new update to an existing article and the thread didn't update neither did the recent activity. Nothing showed at all.
Not to worry.

Yes we get that for a new document being posted, but no other updates if further sections are added to a document. (as mentioned in this thread and op) The first one shows, but no other updates if anything is added to it - unless I have missed the point entirely.
