Hello,

I think that the two firsts uses the default statistics updated each 24H while the other one is a dynamic 24H, ie. updated every hour. Which might explain the difference.

But yeah I'll push this to the bugs and see what I can find.

The first one should mean most users ever visited the forum in one day right?

As I said, it's using different sources and the last 24H is a rolling out one, while the other is not a rolling out but took every day at the same hour.

I am currently trying to create a German language file for the stats add-on and I am also struggling with the online stats.
  1. What's the difference between "users" and "visitors" ?
  2. If I remember correctly the stats add-on creates an own database table for counting online users. The first two figures could be the most online visitors at the same time, one for time since add-on install, one for the actual day. The last one could be a count of all unique visitors on the website during the last 24h (moving window).
That would fit to @madness85 figures in the opening post.
Unfortunately not to what I currently see in the stats block:

    "Today" can't be higher than "24h", it's 10am ;)

Could you pls have a look into the queries or at least tell me were I can find them, to find out what's meant with the figures ?

I would say none as long as they are connected.
Otherwise visitors are guests.

I am not sure I understood your point here.

Currently no, I am not at home, will be back on tuesday, so I don't have the code in front of me.

I am not sure I understood your point here.
Sorry, my fault. Mixed the figures.

but btw: I think the "Posts today" is calculated as "posts last 24h". When taking the screen copy for the previous post, we had about 180 posts during the last 24h, but only 40 posts until 10pm when the screen copy was made.

Currently no, I am not at home, will be back on tuesday, so I don't have the code in front of me.
Would be great if you could do if you have some time ;)

OK, step by step ;)
Now it's 8am.
"Posts today" I would understand as all posts created during the last 8h, from midnight to 8am.
"Posts last 24h" I would understand as all posts created during the 24h, from yesterday 8am to today 8am.

Just now the sidebar block is stating 72 posts for today. If I take a look into my recent posts list (and into database) there are only 7 posts since midnight -> the phrase "Posts today" is not correct, should be "Posts last 24h"

No I think these are the posts since 8 am yesterday.
Are the figure right in that case ?

No, your add-on is definitely showing posts last 24h.

Right now (10:40am) it's stating 103 posts for today:
upload_2017-1-22_10-48-8.png
BUt if I count today's posts in the "Recent posts" sidebar block, there are 10 with a timestamp of today:
upload_2017-1-22_10-49-23.png
(not all 10 on screen grab, more above)

That's also the number of posts for today the Daily Stats add-on is listing (https://xenforo.com/community/resources/mws-daily-statistics.2111/) :
upload_2017-1-22_10-51-14.png

btw: the "Visitors last 24h" figure is the number of logged in members during the last 24h.
I have also installed AndyB's "Members online" add-on (https://xenforo.com/community/resources/members-online.3811/). This add-on is always showing exactly the same figure for members online last 24h.
You can compare the member stats on forum index page, last sidebar block (https://www.pe-community.eu/), with the figure in your add-on (https://www.pe-community.eu/forum-statistics/forum) -> will be the same ;)

Hello,

I checked, my add-on is posts from the last 24H.

I checked the add-on you pointed out, it's from today.
They use UNIX_TIMESTAMP(CURDATE()) in their query.

So for me there is no problem.

Exactly what I said ;)
That's why the phrase "Posts today" is not correct, should be "Posts last 24h".

And btw: sorry, my answer to your question
No I think these are the posts since 8 am yesterday.
Are the figure right in that case ?
wasn't correct :(
It should have been "Yes, ...."
I misinterpreted the question. Sorry for the confusion.
