Bug Not a bug 7 day entry + 7 day vote on weekly contest

I'm not sure if this is bug or suggestion..
I would like to have a contests that have 7 days to enter and 7 days to vote that starts weekly. So after the 7 day submission period the 7 day vote period starts.
In effect it would be two competition open at the same time, only one is vote only and one is submit only.
Now the weekly competition edits the time to limit it to 7 days for combined vote/enter.
If I do monthly competition it does not start every week..

I was thinking that it could be possible to have 4 monthly competitions with same title and rules, but then its a problem since the month is not always 4 weeks..

Is this somehitng that can be implemented? That the competition starts every week, but is not limited to week in submission and vote period?

Monthly contest doesn't work with week
For exemple if you create contest 5 july, recurrence start new contest 5 august
So if you want have your system you need have bi mensual recurrence (start every 2 weeks)

That's right ? if i have understand correctly
If is, i think is possible add this

Ps: Sorry i have deleted your other thread for 30/31 days in month, i thinking was same thread but appears not so i respond you here.
I think you understand is not possible to do this, because dates are managed automaticaly for recurrence (It's add +1 days for daily, +1week for weekly...)

I would like one competition to start every week, but leave the vote and submission period longer than the week.

I'm wondering if it actually is possible right now. I just misread as the competition disappeared from the main view.
So I think I found a bug instead. Will post separate thread.

Is possible you just need setup contest with 7 days for submission and 7 days for vote (but you let uncheck mix both period)
With this configuration your contest must be open for 14 days (or more if you have setup options for reopening...)

Yes, I think this might work. Testing now.
But the contests does not show up in main view, due to the problem I just posted in separate thread.

I can't use it as the contest won't show in overview due to the other problem.. I have to go back to overlapping until it is fixed..

I haven't had a chance to test, I have set 7 days entry, 7 days vote and this works great. More people are also voting this way..
